Can you use vision insurance with EZContacts? ›

EZContacts is proud to provide assistance with determining your vision insurance coverage and we are happy to file your reimbursem*nt claim on your behalf. As an open-access provider, we are not in-network but we can utilize your out-of-network insurance benefits and coverage.

They are 100% authentic.

VSP members can also use their benefits to shop online and in-network with Eyeconic. Just connect your VSP^® Vision Care benefits and use a current prescription from your eye doctor at checkout. If you prefer to shop online elsewhere, research the company to ensure they use quality materials.

We always reserve the right to contact your optometrist to verify all of your prescriptions and prescription purchases. We also reserve the right to ask to have copies of your original prescription/s faxed to us at www.ezcontacts.com.

Discount Contacts is an out-of-network provider for Davis Vision, EyeMed, Spectra/United Healthcare, VSP, and most other insurance plans. The general procedure for reimbursem*nt for these insurance providers is as follows: Fill out an out-of-network reimbursem*nt form.

The doctor or provider will submit the claim directly to VSP for processing after your appointment. The doctor or provider will discuss any copays or out-of-pocket expenses with you during your appointment. You can view previous office visits as well as VSP savings statements by visiting the Benefits section.

All our products - eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses, and eyecare - are 100% authentic and are purchased directly from the manufacturer (or their authorized distributors) that produces these products for brand-name eyewear and eyecare companies.

If you choose to add a prescription or a lens coating, you can expect your frames to be ready to ship within 5-7 business days of placing your order. As soon as your order ships, we will email you the tracking information so you will know when to expect your delivery!

You can use the plan at any Vision Service Plan (VSP) network provider nationwide, including most Walmart Vision Centers and Sam's Club Optical. Before you get service, make sure ​your provider​ is ​in the​ VSP network. Eye exams: $4 copay, once every calendar year.

Can VSP be used at LensCrafters? ›

A VSP Provider can look you up in their system 24 hours after you enroll. VSP offers a robust Network with over 5,000 network doctors in California. They also Include retailers such as Costco, Walmart, and Sam's Club. However, they do not work with Lenscrafters.

If you plan to get glasses and contacts in the same year, use your plan coverage to get your glasses first, then apply the discount on your contact fitting and evaluation to maximize your savings. From then on, you can use the plan allowance the enxt year to get glasses, then the following year to get contacts.

After you submit your order, we'll verify your prescription with your eye care provider to make super-sure you get the correct contacts. This may take up to one business day.

You cannot use an expired prescription to purchase glasses or contact lenses. State law determines when your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses will expire. Eyeglass prescriptions usually are good for a year or two, but state laws vary.

Does insurance cover prescription sunglasses? Most vision insurance plans provide coverage for prescription sunglasses. Generally, vision coverage is limited to products that help correct your eyesight. But some plans might also offer discounts for non-prescription sunglasses from in-network healthcare providers.

Most insurance companies with out-of-network vision benefits will reimburse you for Pair Eyewear prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses, and Pair also accepts most FSA and HSA cards.

Most plans, including VSP insurance, provide a higher benefit for glasses, allowing for the cost of both frames and lenses and usually amounting to almost double to what is given for contact lenses.

When you're shopping for a vision plan, you'll find most states have plans including coverage for both glasses and contacts. Plan design and availability vary by state. Vision plans are administered by Spectera, Inc.
