Cushion Grip is not a "glue" adhesive, it will adhere to yourdentures, not gums. This eliminates or reducesthe need for glue, powders, pastes, and creams.It works similarly to a soft reline byfilling in the gaps tostabilize & tighten your fit.
There is a moderate learning curve, but when used correctly, it will help create the suction needed to give you a tighter, more comfortable denture. With just one application, you can create a long-lasting suction seal that lasts up to four days!

First-TimeUsers: Here's What You Need to Know

  • The quantity needed to secure your dentures properly isbasedon how looseyour denture is.Start off with smaller applications and build up if necessary.
  • When first applied, a brief tingling sensation (similar to mouthwash) could be felt; this is normal, and itshouldn't last longer than 5 minutes. There is small amounts of alcohol.Do not use it if you have any open sores or cuts in your mouth or gums.Please wait to use it until after your gums are healed.
  • IMPORTANT:Cushion Grip is not appropriate for extremely ill-fitting or broken dentures. Additionally, it does not adhere well to dentures with incredibly smooth surfaces, silicone, or metal dentures.

Since it's a thermoplastic denture adhesive, Cushion Grip softens and becomespliable when heated.

Make sure your hands and the lower plate are both clean and completely dry before applying.Any wet spots will cause a lift. It's also important to perform this step while wearing your top denture in your mouth without Cushion Grip applied to it.

Let set it for 5 minutes.After that, insert upper dentures by pressing against the front gum. Next, firmly press the roof of the mouth up with your thumb.Complete the suction seal by biting downfirmly for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

If after a few days, you feel the need to seal your dentures further, please remove Cushion Grip from your dentures and apply a fresh coat. Try to replace Cushion Grip on your dentures at least once a week.
Do not try to remove Cushion Grip until it is fully cured/set.Cushion Grip turns a lighter orange/peach color when it's cured.If you have any "orange" remnants, soak in iced water for a couple of hours until it turns "peach". That means it's fully cured.

To remove, gently peel away the warm Cushion Grip adhesive from dentures with fingers or tweezers.
You can use themethods our Brand Ambassadors recommend if you're having trouble getting Cushion Grip off:
[Method1: Run warm water over your denture. Grab a little piece at the very end andpull up while holding running water between the Cushion Grip and your denture. It should all come out in one piece.]
[Method2: Lift the edges all the way around and find an edge that you can grab onto with a good grip. Then you lift it VERY gently, much like a price tag sticker. If necessary, you can separate it by lifting it and reaching underneath with your finger. Sometimes use tweezers to lift in the trough where your fingers have a hard time fitting.]
